Sarah Bain (also known as the Victorian Mystery series) is a series of mystery novels written by Laura Joh Rowland. It began in 2017 with The Ripper's Shadow and is still ongoing.

Plot Edit

The series follows Sarah Bain, a spinster photographer who gets caught up in solving mysteries. Along with her joins Lord Hugh Staunton, a former aristocrat; Mick O'Reilly, a street urchin; Catherine Peirce, a budding actress; and Abraham and Rachel Lipsky, a Jewish couple.
